A student's heart and hunger for knowledge gets results

WSET Study Notes

WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) qualifications are widely considered the internationally recognized standard for wine knowledge, offering a structured curriculum that builds expertise from foundational to advanced levels.

These notes are posted as a study reference. They are not presented as original writing, but they aren't word for word either. The goal was to capture the information the class was trying to communicate. Sometimes their statement was fine as is, and sometimes it was just a note that would trigger that memory.

  • Notes from the courses taught through the Napa Valley Wine Academy's educational institution for both wine enthusiasts and industry professionals.
  • Notes from the courses taught by Wines with Jimmy, who has a WSET exam prep course online targeted for each level.
  • The bottom of each page for the grapes/wines  has pairing notes (good and bad) when considering foods.
